Sajabinsinsaji stone tower
Sajabinsinsaji stone tower

This is Goryeo's granite stone tower on two stylobates where 4 big rocks were piled, but we can see that this tower is previously 9 floors by looking at the sign. In the sign, writings are written and you can tell about the details of building through this writings. You can tell that 4 lions support this tower and this shape is unique. And Birojana Buddha was preserved on the inner space. Birojana Buddha was sitting down and he wore a hood and his face looks very interesting. This style is imitated from United Silla’s era following the Hwaumsa lion 3 floor stone tower(National treasure 35th). In this era, Hyeonjong(King) wanted to defeat the enemy(Georan) by buddhism so he made this tower.
